DDoS Mitigation
Compare DDoS mitigation options for your network and application requirements, with a clear view of protection scope, delivery method, and response terms.
Discuss your requirements ↗Compute experience. Practical solutions.
Over 25 years in the IaaS industry, with a heavy focus on compute. We help put the solution together, connecting server and GPU requirements with facility power, cooling, networking, and provider terms. Our colocation sourcing spans 1U fractional space to multi-megawatt deployments.
Scope your space and power ↗Define the protection your services need.
Start with the services and traffic you need to protect. We help assess proposed mitigation coverage, exclusions, activation procedures, operational responsibilities, and the cost of protection.
- Network-layer and application-layer protection requirements
- Always-on and on-demand mitigation options
- Routing, traffic delivery, and integration requirements
- Detection, escalation, reporting, capacity, and commercial terms
Protection starts with a clear scope.
Ask which attack types and protocols are covered, which services are excluded, and how traffic reaches the mitigation service. Compare activation time, support escalation, reporting, and any traffic or event-based charges.
Review the operating plan.
Document who detects an incident, who activates protection, how routing changes are handled, and how normal traffic is restored. Evaluate the effect on legitimate traffic and the provider’s contractual commitments.
DDoS mitigation is sourced as a separate service. It is not automatically included with colocation, servers, or IP transit unless the proposal explicitly includes it.
